What is Discord?

What is a Scholarship? 

To earn money by playing a crypto game, you often need a NFT to start with. Buying an NFT can be very expensive, so an excellent option is becoming a scholar by getting a scholarship. As a scholar you basically receive the NFT you need to play a game in a kind of a loan. This means you can use the NFT to play and generate money within the crypto game, and you pay a commission to the owner of the NFT. NGG provides thousands of scholarships for Infinite Arcade.

How much can I earn as a Scholar? 

That depends on the games that are approved for you and how much you climb in the ranking system, the earnings can vary between 100 to 1500 dollars per month. 

What is TIC? 

TIC is the token, or currency, that is used for the casual games in Infinite Arcade. It’s a digital coin, a cryptocurrency. It just works the same like any other coin that you know, like a USD $, or EUR €. The money you earn with Infinite Arcade, you can simply use to buy stuff in Infinite Arcade, or swap it into any other coin you want – yes, you can also swap it into USD $ or EUR €. So yes, you can make real money with it. 

What is a cryptocurrency? 

Simply stated, a cryptocurrency is a new form of digital money. You can transfer your traditional, non-cryptocurrency money like the $USD digitally, but that’s not quite the same as how cryptocurrencies work. When cryptocurrencies become mainstream, you may be able to use them to pay for stuff electronically, just like you do with traditional currencies. Compared to traditional (fiat) money, cryptocurrency are decentralised currencies so their value does not depend on banks or governments. 

What is an NFT? 

NFT or Non Fungible Token (Non Fungible Token) is a unique digital asset (unlike cryptocurrencies) which are fungible since they have a unique value. For example: 1 Bitcoin in wallet A is always equal to 1 Bitcoin in wallet B – it has the same value. An NFT can represent both a digital asset such as an image, but it can also track real-world assets, such as a house or car, or a song, for example. As you can uniquely define assets, this means you can also prove ownership over said assets, and moreover, prove their authenticity. 1 NFT car in wallet A doesn’t have the same value as 1 NFT car in wallet B – it’s a unique asset on its own. 

In order to earn with playing the games from Infinite Arcade, you need an avatar NFT. This is the avatar, or character, that will connect your account to the Infinite Arcade platform. Then you will be able to play all the Infinite Arcade games and earn TIC for each game you play. 

What is a wallet? 

In order to buy something with cryptocurrency – or the receive money that you earn with Infinite Arcade, you need a (crypto) wallet. This is a service where you can create an account and store your digital currencies. One of the best known and used wallets for crypto gaming is Metamask – it’s simple and secure. What is a metaverse? 

To put it simply, the metaverse is a combination of different technologies: virtual reality, augmented reality and video. The idea is that users would be able to work, play and “live” within the digital world. Infinite Arcade is basically an arcade, but located in the metaverse – an online arcade.  

How do I withdraw my money? 

You can use an exchange to change your cryptocurrency to your local (fiat) money. 

What is an exchange? 

A crypto exchange is a platform on which you can buy and sell cryptocurrency. You can use exchanges to trade one crypto for another — converting TIC to Bitcoin, for example — or to buy crypto using regular currency, like the US Dollar. You can also convert cryptocurrencies back into USD or another currency on an exchange, and withdraw to your regular bank account.
